"The beds are not very comfortable. The food at barefoot could be much MUCH better especially for the price. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Pool was wonderful. The ability for food to be delivered to the pool was cool. I wish the poolside drinks were available in the afternoon."

"The pool was great with lots of seating and a little bar where you could order snacks and drinks. Breakfast omelette was huge, I’m glad we decided to share it before we saw it! The room seemed clean but had a slight odour of mildew, so updates are definitely needed. They were also great letting us into our room early as it was ready. "

"We were pleasantly surprised to find such a charming facility available for budget prices. The courtyard, the trees and the pool and hot tub were all excellent and well maintained. No wonder they were entirely booked full!"

"Nice property, parking a little chaotic after 4 pm check ins, due to a lot of work trucks parking vertically and taking multiple parking spaces. Otherwise a nice motel, with Tesla charging (not free)."

"We have stayed at the Bay Club multiple times over the last 40 years. They have renovated obviously but could probably use another refresh; however, the staff is terrific, the location can’t be beat and we will definitely stay again! Walking distance to three great coffee shops, as well as some terrific dinner options, next door to Humphreys and some fun outdoor concerts enjoyed for free if you’re on the marina side, and some great views from the outdoor dining area where we enjoyed a happy hour or two. Convenient to the airport and all San Diego attractions. Definitely a San Diego gem :)"
