"The staff were warm, kind, and helpful throughout our stay, and we loved the nightly poolside movies. Unfortunately, the food at the Firefly was a letdown. The cocktails were weak, the flatbread pizza arrived so cold that the cheese hadn’t melted, and the Caesar salad was almost comical: a few strips of romaine with some croutons tossed on top. We were also disappointed that several amenities we’d been looking forward to were closed on Tuesday and Wednesday. The location is great and the property is beautiful, but overall it didn’t quite live up to my expectations."
