"Completely adequate. Small private airconditioned room w/ double bed and private bathroom. Shared kitchen and common area was nice to have. But it's a hostel, so no frills otherwise. $270/night for a hostel seems a bit high, but it's the Gaslamp during a major conference @ SDCC, so supply and demand I guess. Friends that made their reservations earlier got rooms @ the Marriott & Omni for less, so it's partially my fault for waiting too long. Bottom line is I would stay again in the same...

"Stayed at a handful of hostels and this one's in a class of its own. Bunk beds are comfortable and private, with plenty of lockable storage underneath. The space is clean, warm, and genuinely well put together. Staff are friendly and they set the tone for the place. Taco Tuesday is not to be missed. Easy in and out, free parking just a block away. And the location speaks for itself."
