These had to do with the sofa/bed and computer chair being very worn; torn; or stuffing coming out. Our guess is the maintenance had not been informed of the issues that needed addressed. "Unfortunately, our stay at the AC Hotel Gaslamp San Diego was very disappointing, especially considering we paid approximately $500 per night. When we arrived, it took nearly an hour to get checked into a room. During this time, the receptionist told us our room was not ready, yet we observed at least three other guests being checked into rooms ahead of us. "First trip to San Diego. Always nervous to choose where to stay for location. The staff was great. Really appreciated some extra help once we got there. The Expedia description had a few errors but the staff helped us get what we were expecting + more. They worked with us to make our whole party happy. "I always come to SD for business purposes and family. The rooms were very clean, the staff was sweet and nice, and they were very knowledgeable about the area for food, markets, and places to have fun. Parking is limited relative to the number of rooms available; however, it was good for me. The air conditioning in my room wasn't working and was leaking drops of water, but overall, my complaints are easy to fix. The place is not expensive, and it is a nice room. I would stay here over and over...

"I loved how easy the booking and checkin process was! And it was super convenient for a concert at the petco literally found a great spot in front of hotel and was only an 8min walk to the stadium would definitely book again ‘"

"You get what you pay for, overall not bad. The pool was clean, my kid got in. The place definitely needs a renovation. The elevator doesn't work properly when trying to go down to the 1st floor that button glitches. I didn't really see homeless or sketchy people outside. I did experience weed smell but noticed a person smoking it around the corner of the building. The beds were comfortable."

"Basic room to lay your head. Room was clean except for a large waterbug I found the next morning. The issue was the plane noise. You will not be sleeping in. It was too loud."
