"The place is very basic and comfortable. The room was very clean. We weren't able to adjust the temperature in the room which we would have liked. We did all at the desk but it's possible that language differences made our request useless. It's a great base for Normandy sightseeing."

"Stayed 4 nights. Clean room, comfy bed. Breakfast was ok, eggs, bacon pastries and breads. Not always quick to replenish, and toaster broken one morning. Restaurant was ok, nothing special, but no other restaurants nearby apart from Mc Donald’s. Generally staff friendly and helpful. Always plenty of parking. Dogs seemed to be allowed in for breakfast and 2 were actually sitting on seats at the table being fed meats by their owners!"

"Hotel is in a good location close to the market square and a number of bars and restaurants. The hotel is a simple unpretentious establishment and represents fair value for money. There is free public parking outside the hotel."

"I would have liked to know that the safes in the rooms were not in working order. That was frustrating. The only other complaint was the lack of electrical outlets in the room. Other than that, the hotel, staff, grounds, and staff were lovely. "

"Host was very accommodating. Location is well off the beach, but a good launch location for anyone touring the area. This area is however slow, lacking some amenities ( ride share apps) - out of season ( which should be expected)😁."

"When we arrived the owner greeted us and showed us to a lovely room we had booked, we only stayed the one night en route to our holiday destination and found the room clean and very comfortable . we were given lots of local information to find a bistro in the local town of Aunay sur Odon. The breakfast was well received and presented in a pleasant manner by Thom who was charming . we will have to come again next year and well worth a visit especially for a qiuck over night and as in our case...

"First room we were given was very bare, only a bed, no bedside tables or lamps, nowhere to put suitcases or hang clothes. Asked for a different room and were immediately accommodated. The new room was excellent, clean, a comfortable bed, bedside tables and lamps - although still nowhere to hang clothes or put suitcases off the floor. It also had a kitchen area which apparently was charged extra for if used ( we didn’t). It was a ground floor room with a door to the outside with a table and two...

"Clean and easy. Easy walk to good restaurants. Mussels at Marina restaurant were fantastic."

"Classic chateau property just outside Bayeux! Taxi was quick but necessary. Pool & spa special, as well as, the property grounds. Restaurant 1790 was Michelin Star level & wouldn’t be surprised if they receive one star in the future."

"A quiet, well-being, professional, horse loving retreat from the demands of our busy life around London. The views, room, healthy locally sourced meals and care in presentation are a delight. Highly recommended as a time for Oneself. The Spa and Salt water pool were an integral part of our relaxing time here. We will definitely be returning!
