"The room was prepared neatly upon arrival but there were huge carpet stains inside and on the balcony. The chairs looked like rats ate at the arm rests and our feet turned black walking around the room. We booked a stay for 4 people but for some reason the towels were only prepped for a stay of 3, with one less count for face towels (2). "

"The room was nice 3 king best not bad at all.Parking can me a bit tricky if youre showing up late at night, but not a big deal. other than slight dust on the lamps and desktops. the stay was amazing. close to everything i wnated to see and experience will definitely be going back for a 3rd time. Definitely recommend."

"We chose this hotel for the pictures listed on Expedia which shows a beach and people on stairs walking down to the beach. There is no beach close enough to walk, there is no pool and this hotel is on site of a gas station. You check in on the side of the gas station which is connected all together. Our room had a cup of water under the bed and there was a hair on our sheets which grossed me out. It made me assume the room had not been cleaned and our sheets were likely shaken and put back on. We had a coffee maker but no cups in the room, as well as no soap to wash your hands. We were told to go into our rooms because it was 10pm and we were laughing. No where on the hotel was there a curfew posted. We used water bottle to close the curtains in our room fully because other wise your room could be seen inside. For the price we pay I expected our room to be clean and have fresh bed sheets. Monterey was beautiful but we will never be booking at this hotel again. "

"This was a very unpleasant stay at this hotel. For the price we paid, the service was very disappointing. The room was not clean and felt uncomfortable. The bathroom fixtures were dirty, the bedding did not seem fresh, and there was an unpleasant smell in the room. There was also a constant beeping noise coming from an outlet, which made it hard to relax. After this kind of experience, we didn’t stay for breakfast — we didn’t even want to risk it. Overall, this experience did not meet our expectations at all."
