Maria Elena was an excellent host. The place looked like a museum full of antiques..the best was super comfortable. Bathroom was clean. I would stay here again. 2 minutes from train station and a coffee shop.
The property is unique, beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed, spotless bathroom and lots of space. Opposite Salerno transit station makes this property very convenient when travelling by train or bus. The hosts are enthusiastic to make your stay very welcoming and comfortable.
Our host, Mrs. Lepris was very strange, she told us the Russians before broke the toilet. When I sent her pictures of hairs on the sink, bidet and toilet she stormed over and started buzzing us even when it was late, she continued buzzing repeatedly. When we let her in she started yelling at us and after she finally left, she actually showed up later through the other side of the suite. So inappropriate! She claimed the babies were sleeping. It was very freaky, she came back in the morning to get the keys and talked about contacting the police about the hair pictures I sent.
The apartment is aestheticly very nice, in an excellent location between the port to catch the ferries to Positano, Amalfi, etc., and the train station is a few steps away, it is also easy to walk to the historical old town. However, those positives do not make up for how uncomfortable the stay was. There is no comfortable place to sit. The bed is the worst I have ever had the misfortune to sleep in, basically the equivalent of sleeping on a boxspring without the mattress- little sleep and lots of pain. We were not told the building was under restoration, with banging, pounding and scraping outside our window at 7:30 am each morning. The apartment has a kitchen, but the owner definitely does not want anyone using it, as there were no cooking pans, no way to heat food and no wine glasses. There is a small fridge that we were able to store a few things. The owner did provide us with a private parking garage a 5 minute walk away, at a charge of 25 Euro per day.
Un posto con uno stile unico, dove l’arte è protagonista.
La proprietaria è di una gentilezza squisita, la posizione è perfetta.
