We stayed in a "superior" room and enjoyed the character of the hardwood floors and brick walls of this quirky, nicely renovated building - not at all the corporate commercial feel, yet comfortable and clean. Walk out the front door and you are practically in the Place Des Arts, pedestrian only. We parked in the Complex Desjardins, so convenient, and traveled light with just backpacks. "I booked this hotel for a weekend trip with my friends and I. It was convenient to the metro which we loved and used that to get around. The hotel staff were lovely and helped answer any questions we had. They were all very welcoming. The free breakfast was nice for a budget hotel and had a wide selection. The only complaint we had was that it kind of smelled bad when walking up to the entrance because of the garbage being left outside in the heat, but inside the hotel it was clean and so was...
"Property was great, great location and very quite area, but very close walkung distance to Old Montreal. Lots of culture in area. Only thing we noted that the TV volume was locked out, but was very low and very hard to hear. We had a kitchenette, very clean and everything was great. All staff were very courteous.
