"The hotel is centrally located inside the old city walls. You can walk to all of the major historical monuments. The breakfast was great - Continental but good value and tasty. The restaurant right next door was good. We greatly enjoyed a dinner at La Tertre (you will need a reservation)"

"We stayed at Michelle’s beautiful guest house for 4 nights in June and what a gem of a find it was!
From the moment we booked to stay at 537 St.Emillion, communication was excellent and our welcome was really wonderful.
Because there are only 3 rooms, it felt very private, peaceful and special.
The swimming pool was lovely. The gardens and views of vineyards and beautiful neighbouring villas was to die for.
Michelle went out of his way to ensure our continental breakfasts were fresh every day,...

"It was an absolute delight to stay with Nathalie and Olivier who have lovingly restored the Chateau. They were charming hosts and made the stay one to remember. The renovation of the chateau provides a modern and spacious room that has also retained the charm of the old building. The meals were delightful and prepared by the hosts using fresh local produce. I'd thoroughly recommend Malis Castera to anyone wanting to stay in the wine region."

"Ch Haut-Brisson must be the best kept secret in all of the Bordeaux area! It is situated just a short 7 minute drive to the Medievel town center, it is not far from Pomerol, Lalande de Pomerol, and other nearby bordeaux villages.
