We were disappointed with the condition of the building. It needs some attention. Outside rotting around the windows. Some furniture needs some attention. Food was acceptable. Salmon was overcooked and dry. The guides were good except for Gabriel. He should not be there. I asked to use the electric bike and he said No because Dinner was in 2 hours. I had plenty of time to use it. He has an attitude problem. It was nice to be able to eat outside on the patio watching the waterfall. Thank you to the director for making it happen. I think location by far is the most beautiful I ever seen however attention to details is not there for the price you pay to stay there.

Thank you for taking the time to share with us these comments regarding your stay, please be assured that they have been heard and that we are sorry we did not reach your expectations. First, we would like to tell you that the employee you mentioned is no longer working at Auberge de Montagne des Chic-Chocs. In this regard, we are sincerely sorry for his behavior towards you. As you point out, our guides are generally recognized for their excellent customer service. Regarding the food, we must admit that the serious labor shortage affecting tourism in Quebec has unfortunately affected our kitchen team. For that purpose, it’s our human resources department's priority to recruit candidates who will strengthen our catering team at the Auberge. Also, you mentioned the condition of the building. The pandemic and health restrictions of the last year have delayed the process but we confirm that major exterior works, including window replacement, will take place this fall. Finally, we would be very happy to receive you again to come and see these corrections, for this purpose please contact us via Expedia messaging system. Thank you again for your comments.
