"Our 2nd visit didn't disappoint. We stayed in a lovely room above the restaurant which was spacious, well appointed and with a large window with Juliet balcony. The room had 2 easy chairs to sit by the open window and look over the garden and river. Breakfast is extensive in a lovely room overlooking the river. The setting is the best we have ever experienced and chairs are provided for you to sit on the side of the river. Food is exceptional and as in previous reviews, the vegetarian...

"Very good value for the money. The receptionist was extremely helpful and showed us a secure spot for our van under video surveillance. There was quite a strong odour from the hallway carpets, but the room, though small, was clean and comfortable. The location was excellent, just a few minutes walk into centre ville. "These rooms were charming and rustic with comfortable beds and good showers! The only downside was that checking in was difficult: I arrived after dark and there's no street lighting anywhere and no on-site reception, so it was very difficult to figure out where to park and how to get in. Luckily there's a number you can call, and the woman who answered was immensely helpful, so I got in eventually!"
