"Great hotel right overlooking the water of Sandy ground beach. The resort is not on the water, there is a small street and steep cliff in front. But the view is amazing.

Perhaps more a guest house than a hotel, but it met our needs perfectly for a 2-night stay in transit through St Maarten - clean, comfortable, with fridge, cooker etc., 5 minutes from the airport, walking distance to several shops and lots of restaurants, and literally right on the beach. We will be back next time we need to stop over in St Maarten"
"Property has pretty comfortable beds and pillows, the place is clean and the staff is very friendly. The odd parts are that the property isn't staffed past 5PM and trying to find parking is not close or fun and (at least in July) much of the area is just closed and not busy, making for little to do around the area. I hear it's better during "high season." Property is nice, but I wouldn't personally choose this location again. It is very close to the beach though! "

"We had a fabulous stay at the Great House. Yes the property is older but it’s super clean, and it’s on the beach. The service & the food at the restaurants was exceptional. There are also several other local place to eat within walking distance on the beach. We will definitely be back."

"The property location is excellent.. it's within walking distance to a majority of the areas night time hot spots, which is very convenient because parking is so hard to find if you are going to Nowhere Special, Lotus nightclub, or Captain Rib Shack to name a few in the vicinity. On-site parking is free. My studio suite was a great size. King bed was large enough to roll around twice without falling off.
