"This retreat in the village was tranquil and restorative. The traditional japanese room with private onsen bath was the perfect complement to arriving from Tokyo and restorative after a day of rafting and canyooning (shout out to NOAC). Its also very quiet and safe around the hotel so we liked that. It was hard to find a restaurant within 20 minutes walking that was open for dinner, but we met a sweet auntie who told us where to find good food. I loved japanese rooms that consist of spacious view side and tatami floor; my room had split toilet and shower stall as well, which is massive plus bc i dislike UnitBath system. Lounge access was great with local specialty beverages and snacks. The premise has so many retails and entertainment places. The buffet offered wide varieties that went beyond my expectations. Overall, one if the best establishments in Kinugawa. The outdoor bath on the highest floor was massive plus. "
