"The property itself was lovely. However, during my two day stay, the water temperature in my room's en suite bathroom was cold, and then tepid, both for the basin and shower. The shower water pressure was also very poor. Finally, I had early starts on both mornings, and the fire alarm went off in my bedroom due to "steam" from the bathroom. "This place is quaint but not super welcoming. The cottage was cute but not the comfiest beds. We didn’t get a code to check in and didn’t realise the reception would be unmanned. The continental breakfast was a bit odd - self service without clear instructions. Wasn’t all put out at 8am and then a girl came and brought some more things. Had to make our own coffee. "

It’s extremely dated, the heating was an old electric heater and didn’t really heat the room well, I was freezing and had to put layers on for bed because the duvet was very thin too. The room must have had a dog in previously, I had a really bad allergy reaction my eyes and nose were streaming and when I put my leggings on I had dog hairs all over them. The bathroom was nice but had a huge stain in the sink and some of the pipe boxing was falling off. The food...

Also guest seemed to taking food and not eating it - wasting, and some did not care about leaving the place tidy - absolutely clueless people "
