"Soooooo good! This hotel is located perfectly for the central colleges and river. It’s also a very short walk from Park & Ride bus stops if you come into the city using P&R. The communal areas are great with lots of food and drink options, plus plenty of seating. Lovely vibe in there. Bed was incredibly comfortable and we both slept very well. There is a modern clean bathroom and well equipped small kitchenette. Highly recommend for a trip to Cambridge."

"The hotel has only been open about 6mths. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom was just like brand new. Shower was powerful. The location is prefect for exploring Cambridge, only about 5-10 mins walk from the centre but the design of the rooms shelter you from any noise from the main road. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. The only disappointment was the breakfast, having pre paid for breakfast, found out they only offered a very limited cooked options (fried...

"The room was clean and comfortable. The gentleman at the front desk was welcoming and kind. The breakfast was quite simple, but I was happy to have something available nonetheless. The location is excellent, a quick walk from main attractions!"

"Such a lovely hotel with lots of history, 8 minute walk to the town. Beautiful decor and extremely friendly and helpful staff from the reception staff to the bar staff. They upgraded our room for free due to a celebration booking and could not have been more lovely. Thank you!"

"The Gonville is well located for Cambridge. Staff are very friendly. Reuben on the front desk in particular. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. Breakfast is a very good selection with many chef cooked options available. Furniture in the communal areas is tired, worn, and needs replacing but in general this is a very comfortable hotel."
