No USB ports, no kettle, warm fridge, safe that didn't open, bedside wall light front plate fell off, no instructions on how to operate anything, no information about breakfast/dinner menus, bed sheets do not fit the bed. Room was clean, bathroom was very nice, hairdryer included. Staff pleasant and mostly helpful. Restaurant did not make a good impression at dinner. Slow service, wrong order after long wait followed by another long wait for the correct...

"Hotel Steenhuyse was a very nice place for me to stay on my cycling trip to Flanders. Bart was a great host. He even sat and had a nice chat with me at breakfast. My room was very large, clean, and well-decorated. Breakfast was a buffet with a variety of meats, breads, pastries, and cereals. As a cycling fan from the U.S., I couldn't recommend a hotel more than this one. It is a few steps away from the Tour of Flanders museum, and a short ride from the famous climbs of the Ronde. "Had a one night stop over on the way back home from a driving tour of Norway. Excellent rooms. Mr Sato's restaurant was excellent and good value. It's Japanese food which is always expensive but certainly great quality. Cocktails were nice too"
