"Really convenient for a one night stop on the way to Shetland. Nice room and shower."

"The actual room was fairly clean with a decent shower and toilet and good selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. Quite a bit of traffic noise from the main road. The building and surroundings are very run down, I wasn't even sure the pub was open to go in and collect the key as the windows had bars on them and the hanging sign was empty. Needs a bit of a paint job. Parking was dodgy, surrounded by bins, rubbish and just not very clear where to park."

"Booked just ‘cause it fitted my travel plans but found a great wee Hotel punching well above. Dinky room but well appointed. Great restaurant with good selection on menu, delicious 2 courses served by friendly, attentive staff. Breakfast cooked fresh, best I’ve had in sometime. Very good quality for not a lot of money. Thank you for being so welcoming."

"It felt wonderful to be able to come back to this hotel at the end of a long day. The staff and management really go all out to make guests feel at home. The rooms have very comfortable beds and beautiful bathrooms! Meals are also very nice - and again, it was so comforting not to have to go out again at the end of the day. "Beautiful grounds. Friendly staff. Full sized shower was a nice surprise. Bed and bedding were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious. Black out curtains really kept out early morning sun."
