"The hotel itself and the rooms are nice. But the downtown is has a lot of homelessness and some were even hanging out in the doorway. The hotel locks the doors from 9pm(?) onwards and it makes entering and exiting the hotel feel unpleasant. The hotel and the room was good. Parking was also a problem. The underground parade had a 6ft height limit and the extra parking in the back alley felt deeply unsafe. We parked a block away on Lawrence st."

"Nicest room I’ve had in years, clean room great mattress. The complimentary breakfast was very good . Did not use pool or weight room both however looked great.i would not hesitate to give a 10 out of 10!"

"Very small rooms. Could not figure the tv out. Was loud for a bit at night."

"The rooms feel like a dorm room. It was the smallest window that claimed to be “water” view. They need updating in a bad way - especially for the cost!! Restaurant was great!"

"Due to a rescheduled medical appointment, I paid a $44 CAD fee to change my check-in dates. Upon arrival, I found out that the 3-person breakfast originally included in my booking was removed, forcing us to pay for breakfast out of pocket. Paying a modification fee only to lose an included benefit is very disappointing and unreasonable."

"Old school retro place. Reminded me of places I stayed while I was a child. Very clean. Comfy beds. Staff was lovely."

"The bathroom and lighting was poor and the bed was not comfortable enough"

"I don't like the Nespresso machines so didn't use them."

"Our hosts, Suzana and Allen, were very welcoming. The home is immaculate and tastefully decorated. The highlight of course was breakfast each day. The eating area is bright and cheery with a wonderful view of the valley. Suzana prepared a delicious variety of foods with fresh, local ingredients - many dishes were her own recipes. Allen brewed fresh coffee every morning and kept our cups topped up. On our last morning we were also treated to his Apple Cottage Cheese Bake. We especially liked that...

"The location of this hotel is right on the lake, beautiful patio and lakeside dining. The hotel is old with an antique style which is well maintained. Only problem I had was there was a lot of noise at night possibly coming from an air conditioning unit next door to our room. I reported this to the manager who was very considerate and covered the cost of our breakfast. The manager said he would have maintenance check it out right away"
