"This house is beautiful and immaculate and the owner had thought of everything for all ages from high chairs and travel cots to a shower seat in the walk-in shower. The location was ideal to so many places. The owner is lovely and was quick to resolve any issues. Unfortunately the house itself seems to be the only part of the property that has been renovated and what will be a lovely fairy garden, replete with waterfalls, was marred by construction rubbish. "From our arrival til our departure, the service at Mount Juilet was impeccable. The Hotel itself is beautiful with spacious well decorated rooms, well thought out amenities and a lovely spa. We both enjoyed massages (some of the best we have had). Meals in The Hound were tasty and well priced. The Saddle bar has a lovely atmosphere and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting Sean who offers historical talks on tbe estate on Thursday and Sunday evenings. "Upon arrival, we were sent to a room without power and a leak in the bathroom. The stafd had shut off the power because of the leak so they knew about it but put us in the room anyways. When we were moved, they provided us with a free drink voucher which was nice but when we tried to use it to order a pint, they only brought us a half pint. When eating at their restaurant, their cesaer salad included carrots which I am allergic to. This was not listed under the allergens or in the menu...

"Only negative was that there wasn't an elevator. Staff in the bar/restaurant were very friendly and provided great service. Reception staff helped with baggage due to some of us being a bit incapacitated."
