"The staff were so friendly and helpful. Situation was excellent, good sized car park."

"O"

"Beautiful rooms, I've never seen so many light switches and sockets to plug into ! let down by poor maintenance on the bathroom doors, which didn't close due to not fitting in the frame by a few cm! Maybe they were just being installed, but not great when you can't close the door. We had a very fancy fan, but would be cautious booking without air-con in the hotter times. Breakfast was good ! proper bread, and a chef who can cook eggs without them being snotty or hard boiled ! Room had...

"Staff was excellent. Food in restaurants were very good. Plenty of option and good portions"

"Positive: penthouse rooms are good for families. Gym is very good for a hotel. Negatives: pictures are somewhat misleading: there isn’t really a hot tub; the one in the pictures is the same temp as the pool and the one in the spa is like a tepid bath. Breakfast is ridiculous, you get to stand in line everyday for about 20 min while they act surprised that they have customers and when they say breakfast ends at 10, that is a lie. "Good rooms and showers. The food we ordered"

"Excellent hotel. On site parking a bonus."

"Bit confusing the layout but nice clean hotel and food good"

"Wykeham Arms is a period institution! Accomodation is a plus, and great food... Location, location, location helps!"

"The room was very clean and comfortable and had all the little extras including ironing board and hairdryer as well as fresh milk for the tea/coffee provided. Also the all necessary toiletries. The staff were also very friendly and helpful."

"We have stayed here a couple of times , they go above and beyond to make it a pleasant stay, they also include an excellent breakfast plus another nice touch is the tipple in the room ,"

"The room is very tidy and clean. I find the room seems newly renovated. It was a cold night and I have the heater on and the room warm up very fast. The room was quiet at night even it’s a Saturday night. Quite a different narrative to the receptionist warn me while check in. Probably my room is at far end and facing other side."
