"Hotel was in a great location, being close to the town centre and the sea front and the seaview was very nice. Breakfast was good and the staff were good throughout. The room had a huge en-suite bathroom which was finished to a very high standard and was very nice. The bedroom was ok but not to the same high standard as the bathroom and view of the sea was somewhat spoilt by the view of a poor condition balcony. The bed, although large, was not comfortable with both of us awaking early with back...

"You get what you pay for. Albany Hotel is a budget hotel so I didn’t have high expectations. I was happy with my room and the parking which is available at the back. Very helpful staff as well."

"Stayed in premium sea view room was big and spacious, great views, would of liked a fridge just had a cooler, water available but on a hot day would be best if it was cold, robes and slippers available as well as hair dryer and iron and board, they have their own shampoo and conditioners and body wash, only thing would be the sink in bathroom doesn’t seem to drain well it’s slow and it doesn’t get rid of debris"

"Absolutely fabulous place, incredible location right on the beach, and the room even had a sneak peek of the sea. They also ensured our husky was comfy with a welcome bag of treats, and a bed for her. It was also great to see the room carpet was definitely for dogs, while usually a carpet that is less than pristine may be your nightmare, it put us very much at ease. There was also a gorgeous roll top bath and even a stainless steel shower, great again for dogs. The staff were fabulous too,...

"Place was ok. Not your normal hotel. No safe, no fridge, no clock and there were no outlets to charge your phone near your bed. Felt like I was in a cross between a hostel and hotel. The beds were not the normal mattress. Felt like we were sleeping on a foam mattress on a box."

"We booked a luxury double. It was a very small room. The furniture was a bit tired and had some stains on the chair. Not enough ventilation as could hardly open the windows. No hairdryer in room had to ask for one. Wasn’t worth the money we paid. Didn’t have breakfast. No parking. Wouldn’t stay there again as I know there are cheaper and better places."

"Good location nice and central. No WiFi at all in the property reported the issue and a matinee person said they fixed it but still did not work. A lot of flies in my room and it looked a bit run down."
