"The hotel is very well located close to all the tourist sites, bars and restaurants. The hotel rooms are clean and average size, a little dated but OK. Breakfast is fair value with fresh fruits, pastries, cold cuts, tea/coffee etc and a small hot section. Parking is available for Euro15 a day and it is linked to the hotel, so very well located. The Spa is excellent and well worth using"

"Parking instructions for nearby public car park were very clear.. making it a seamless arrival! Hotel is perfectly located for the Bullring and the bridge.. literally a few strides away! Food was fabulous and room was superb! Highly recommended 5*"

"THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve ever experienced. Arrived at the hotel to be told I could check in without a passport, that a drivers licence wasn’t valid ID anymore- the manager even told me patronisingly to “check on ChatGPT!” Whilst the managers discussed our fate they told us to go get a drink at the bar “on them”. Then when we did that and handed over the voucher we’d been given the waitress told us that didn’t cover the drinks we had chosen- not that we have been prescribed which drinks to select, she was extremely rude and when the manager came over to tell her to explain the situation a full out argument in Spanish ensued. Quite unbelievable. The bottle blond middle aged bar lady (didn’t get her name) was so rude. I was told there was no way we could be checked in so I had to travel back to get the passports, nowhere on any of my booking information did it state that a passport was a requirement, zero effort was made to appease me or show and sympathy to the fact I had driven a long way with a young family. It was my first stay at the hotel and will be probably be my last unfortunately. I complained to the Company and they forwarded me to the Hotel Management team who I haven’t heard anything from - that was over a month ago. VERY DISAPPOINTING"
Parador de Ronda

"As the Parador was originally the town hall, room would have been large, therefore bedrooms very spacious - largest we've ever stayed in! Only hotel we have stayed in where we had to choose a br'fast time - disappointing as nice when relaxing, to be able to 'turn up' when it suits you! Not on the hour! fyi Some breakfast portions very small for what we were paying, eg smoked salmon triangles approx 2 inches across, 1 inch deep at longest depth."

"Staff was good. Bed was comfortable. A good size for two people. Nice shower. The bad was that the TV did not have apps like Netflix and no hdmi input for a roku. Also, not quiet, for some reason I hear doors slam in the morning. Soundproofing is mediocre."

"3km dirt road to get there. Bathroom too small. Nowhere to place soap or shampoo in shower. Old and tiny furniture. We tried the only 2 choices for main course and we did not like one of them"

"This place is really bare bones. That's not entirely a bad thing. It's nice to be out of the city in the quiet countryside, but this is more of a hostel than a hotel. The room is basic and the bathroom is average. We had a 2nd floor room with a balcony which was really nice for sitting out listening to the quiet. The balcony view of the rolling countryside is very nice. The photos show a pool, but I couldn't find one. There looks like there's a great set up here with a bar and what looks like a full kitchen. Unfortunately, there was absolutely no staff there while we were at the property. Overall, the place was fine for the night and was very basic. Maybe a bit too basic for the cost, but there was nothing really bad about the place. Just don't expect much in terms of frills."
