"Ok this hotel/resort was absolutely stellar in all ways. I am not going to lie-at first I was skeptical because as we approached the hotel, we realized that it was right off the highway. I was worried that it would be a terrible experience due to the proximity to the major road. Not at all! My friend and I shared a suite and it was the most gorgeous room and view! All the rooms face BEHIND the hotel, overlooking the trees and ocean in the distance. You can’t tell that the hotel is next to the highway at all! The entire facility is just perfect. Very kind and helpful staff, the pool and lounge area were incredible and we loved the breakfast buffet. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone that wants to experience a luxurious vacation close to Marbella and other beaches. It was truly perfect"

"A quiet, elegant stay. The staff were kind & friendly. My suite was exceptionally spacious, beautifully designed with a magnificent view of the sea. The food was wonderful and the beach amenities were excellent. I was solo but I would return with a group or family. Close to Marbella town with restaurants and nightlife, while feeling like a true restful getaway."

"Muy bien organizado y todos están dispuestos a correr la milla extra para satisfacer vuestras necesidades. Si van a necesitar un estacionamiento separenlo con tiempo ya que el espacio está limitado y estacionar en la calle es casi imposible. Lugar recomendado."

"Decent hotel in an excellent location. Probably the best if traveling without a car. However, if you do have a car, the location might cost you additional dollars/euros you do not expect from a traffic fine. I am still not certain the sections of the street leading up to the bridge the hotel is located next to are restricted, but I just paid a fine months after our stay for driving in the restricted zone. Supposedly if you stay in a hotel in the restricted zone you are exempt, but nothing was ever mentioned while we stayed there and the hotel did have our rental car information. I guess there are signs, but I never noticed any. At least not ones located on the MAIN street through Ronda and the street GPS will most likely take you down. Possibly I missed it while on the lookout for all the people walking in the street due to overcrowded sidewalks. It seems that the Hotel Don Miguel and many others are located in the restriction zone, so I would assume Ronda is making tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of Euros from fining visitors. The staff was very friendly and even parked our car for us in their garage the first night."
