"Stayed one night in a twin room whilst on a long walk. Arrived to a very friendly welcome from the manager, everything explained and shown to our room. Room perfect with good tea facilities (great homemade biscuits!) and a bathroom with large shower and good quality toiletries. We'd booked dinner which was just as well as they were packed, both had the short rib beef and it was delicious, servers were lovely and they had fantastic Naptons cider on draft! "Room fully equipped. Shower with good pressure. Parking was adequate and breakfast amazing. The mattress and pillows were too soft and the duvet was too thick with no option for a lighter blanket. Not a lot of room around the bed but good storage."
