The property is part of the Dubuque park system and helps preserve the legacy with active youth education programs. The staff provides excellent hospitality services with clean rooms and amenities. The coffee and Breakfast were wonderful. The view and trails overlooking the Mississippi River are peaceful and the grounds is home to woods and woodland bird species including Wild Turkey that stroll through the grass to feed. We appreciated a historical narration from caretaker "Willow" who along with her mom Dix manage the BnB portion of the estate. We highly recommend the Four Mounds! "
