The staff was friendly and nice. However, if you don't speak Spanish use a translator app, bc if you need something, it won't get done. The food is only buffet style, and a very small selection 2/10. The property is quiet and relaxing, so if you came to party, this isn't the place for you. My room had big gaps in the door frame, which let the bugs walk right in. Overall the property/rooms were clean, but I wouldn't stay here again.
Best place I ever stayed. Entertainment was top tier

Media Luna Resort heavily markets its amenities and “5-star” experience, but unfortunately, the reality does not live up to the hype. While the overall concept of the resort is appealing and the staff are mostly young, energetic, and genuinely friendly, poor management, outdated equipment, and weak customer service significantly impact the guest experience.
The resort would benefit greatly from reallocating resources. Rather than offering a large quantity of mediocre food options, a smaller menu with higher-quality meals would be a major improvement. Additionally, the water system throughout the resort needs serious investment, as it does not meet the expectations of a property claiming luxury status.
Basic guest services are also lacking. Front-door service with golf carts to transport guests to and from their bungalows should be standard, yet it is noticeably absent. Even more concerning is how housekeeping staff are expected to work. Seeing cleaning crews push supplies uphill in wheelbarrows is not only shocking but unsafe—especially for a resort branding itself as “prestigious.” Providing proper equipment would protect staff and reflect a higher standard of care and professionalism.
The outdated infrastructure is evident throughout the property. Bathrooms using ball valves as flushing handles is unacceptable
Beautiful property with a private beach that is tucked away in a sheltered cove. Clean, spacious rooms with excellent wi-fi. Lots of staff and security on-site. Wide variety of foods to choose from at the buffet. Family-friendly.
Arranging airport shuttle was not straightforward.
As a female lone traveler, I felt the staff went above and beyond to make me feel safe and happy. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I loved my room and the layout of the place.
My only suggestions are that they clean up some to the trash in the water near the beach. When I went snorkeling, I saw a lot of plastics and trash in the shallow water. Also the patio door at my villa was very hard to open and lock.
Andi the chef was fantastic and the restaurant and bar staff was very friendly and accommodating. The food and drinks were amazing. The bungalow was clean, comfortable and quiet. The resort staff made us feel special! We were always greeted with a big smile and anything we needed was taken care of promptly. We will definitely be back!
We cannot say enough good things about this resort. The rooms were amazing, the staff were fantastic and the food was outstanding. They treat you like family while you are there and the staff goes above and beyond in their service. I would highly recommend Media Luna for your next vacation.

The place is beautiful because it is secluded. However, they need to improve the dishes they offer to guests.
The property itself was great, the people was friendly the place was nice. The property has its own beach nice view. The food wasn’t so great. The food options need to be better. Food was limited. They serve the same food everyday it got very tiring eating the same thing. The room was not great no hot water. The only good thing about the room is the ocean view. The AC wasn’t work for 4 days me and my party got sick due to black mold under the pillow. We asked to change rooms nothing was done. I was sick the whole trip due to black mold in the room.
The staff and manager of this Hotel will try to overcharge you for every single thing. The premises are not bad, but the location is ridiculous. 40 minutes from the rest of the island. Other hotels allow you to enjoy the several attractions of Roatan, but in Media Luna you will be a slave of the poor service and the worse food you will ever have in your life.
Trust me. Avoid Media Luna's resort.
The staff needs more experience and the menu and services in such need work but overall they are on the way to success. They also need to stop all these blogger / influencer promos they have been doing. Stuff like that isn’t going to work help pick up the establishment. What’s gonna help is word of mouth, and word mouth will come once the entire complex is renovated, menu options have improved and the staff is full trained. One last thing, Media Luna needs its own social media accounts; they need to separate themselves completely from the Henry Morgan brand. They’re full different in all aspects.

We like that the property is private and The only thing that we did not like the communication, it was really difficult to know what events were having. Nobody knew. It’s like the kissing and the front desk never really knew what it was for dinner or what they have for lunch or breakfast. It was always the same breakfast, but other than that everything else it was wonderful I know that they were on the season for mosquitoes, but they fumigating well. The customers were here and that’s really dangerous. there were some stuffing that they were kind of rude. They have a personal who take care of the kayaks and the patty board. One of the stuffing was really rude and we were shock about And the event team were not really exciting. We were there for almost a week and a half and everything was repeatedly. They were not so much things to do in the property. Also snacks during the breakfast lunch or lunch to dinner so pretty much you had to wait to grab something to eat, they only have Breakfast lunch and dinner but they’ll have Snacks between those hours and there’s nothing really close so you can go buy some snacks so if you not drive in you had to kind of communicate with the front desk so they can get you somebody to take you to a store and sometimes the store there like 30 minutes away and you had to wait for at least an hour so that can take almost 3 hours off your day they still have the name of Media Luna reserve a spa But they just reopen and their work progress
The room was cleaned daily and restocked with fresh bottled water. There were a few stand-out servers: Gektor and Andy specifically. Everyone was friendly and accommodating, from the security staff to the entertainment staff to the hotel staff. We were welcomed as if we had come “home”.
Les petits bungalows étaient parfaits, propres et bien équipés. Personnel attentifs et souriants. Wifi no1. Site naturel avec beaucoup de fleurs et de jardins. Nourriture très bonne.
