"We stayed 3 nights for a wedding. Hotel was accommodating to our request for a private room to play cards with a large group of friends. We stayed during a very busy weekend and we only heard neighboring units flushing the toilets, btw the toilets here could probably flush a bowling ball and all 10 pins without breaking a sweat. We did not have a vent in the bathroom unfortunately, so using the bathroom effectively was torturous to all of us. All in all, if i ever were to return to petoskey I will be staying here again."

"Room was clean, back entryway was not well maintained with weeds over sidewalk. Back stairwell was dirty with crackers outside my room door for 4 days. Breakfast was good but the same, no variety for the 4 days we were there. Construction workers leaving every day at 0445 slamming there room doors, the exit doors, and there car doors and then backing up there vehicles with backup beeping. Not very relaxing. Pool and surrounding area needed maintenance. Staff nice and helpful."

"We stayed in the Inverness building. Everything was very nice and cozy. It has an old 1970's/1980's lodge feel. That's fine. I like nostalgia. Wonderful towels. Nice kitchenette. Lovely balcony. I liked the Murphy bed, though it is low, so if you have issues with standing from low seats, be aware. My knees are shot (currently waiting for replacements), and my back isn't great, either, but the difficulty for me was minimal. My husband found the bed too soft, so take that into account. I have no idea if that is standard in all lodges, so maybe check with the office if it could be an issue for you. My only issue is that there was a musty odor that kind of hit me in the face as soon as I entered the room. Again, other rooms and buildings may not have that issue. If you're sensitive to scents, check ahead. As for us, we acclimated and didn't smell it after we had been in the room for 30 minutes or so. Opening the balcony door helped, as well. But whenever we left and returned....ugh. I say this just to help those who might have a harder time with softish mattresses or musty odors. But it really wasn't a big deal for us. It was a pleasant stay, and we will definitely return."

"The staff was polite, helpful and attentive. We requested a first floor room due to an injury prevented me from climbing steps. They empathize with the situation and quickly found a room that met our needs. The room was clean and comfortable. It was a motel not a hotel and that was different but not bad. The breakfast was good and offered a variety including fruit."

"Love that all the rooms have a beautiful view of the Bay! The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The staff was all very friendly. Breakfast was awesome!! No complaints. We have stayed here a few times before and will probably again."

"The hotel is located about 2 miles from central Petosky, out in the countryside, away from the main activities of the city. The hotel is modern, comfortable, well maintained, and has a distinct hipster vibe. We were hoping to see Little Traverse Bay from the hotel, but the view was surprisingly blocked by tall evergreen trees. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious and the shower was very good. The WiFi was easy to connect to and the signal was decent. The staff was somewhat attentive and friendly but a little too laid back to provide a sense of professionalism. This is probably preferred by Millennial Hipsters :) The cost was outrageous: $500 per night for a room with 2 queen beds. Although our stay was pleasant, I probably would not stay here again due to the distance from Petosky and the cost."
