"It was very special experience to stay at Japanese traditonal house with my family. It was a little bit far from the main sightseeing site but we were ok because we had a car. Kinkakuji was especially awesome."

"Not the easiest place to find, would suggest a sign between the two other buildings, it’s opp the Police station. At the rear of the front buildings. However once you have found it, the accommodation is great. Easy walk to buses or taxi to wherever. Great place would recommend, just remember it’s down an alley!"

I enjoyed the tea set that was put for us to try. I felt so relaxed at this place. The location of this property is a 3 min walk from bus stops and right next to the famous sight spots of Kyoto. I highly recommend staying at this place if you visit Kyoto! "

"Everything was great at this location our only concern were the stairs. We've (myself, husband and our adult son) stumble on the stairs. The steps were very narrow except for the landing steps. "

"古い建物なので、寝室への階段が急であったり、土間から居間へ上がる段差の高さなど、高齢の人には不向きかもしれないが、それに目を瞑れば、京都の街並みを楽しみながら風情を楽しめる立地と施設でした。 駅まで遠いので駐車場があるのはありがたかったです。 2泊だったから良かったですが、長期で滞在するなら洗濯機が無いのは厳しい点かもしれません。コインランドリーも遠かったので、、、"
