"Property is conveniently located near restaurants and a downhill walk to the shoreline. We had a suite and the shower water pressure was really light - hard to get a good rinse but probably good for the environment. The curved sofa looked cute but the bottom cushion didn’t stay in place and wasn’t comfortable. The bottom sheet kept coming off the corners of the bed when we were sleeping. Daily housekeeping services were definitely lacking. They missed two days out of four and the other days...

"Upon arriving I was told my reservation was not found and booking through a 3rd party (Expedia) it sometimes cancels on its own. After some “searching” they found it and said I got the last room. When I finally got into my room the lock would not work and this was a problem since I’m a single mom with young kids. I was told it’s fine you need a key to unlock the door and only the staff have access to this. I was very unsettled and not heard. I had to prop a chair under the handle for safety."

"We came in the off season and the place was empty. We were the only guests the entire weekend. The bar and restaurant were not open and there was no staff on site. As such there was no continental breakfast as listed. It was quiet at night and heard birds singing in the morning which was nice. "This is a cozy old-school Adirondack motel at a good price for the high season. The interior has a log cabin feel and all of the normal amenities of a motel. It was nice to park right in front of my room, and the room was quiet, despite a full parking lot (I think the rooms are spaced apart enough to allow this). "We brought our 2 3-year-olds and 10 year old for a little getaway and this hotel was perfect. There was always something to do, it was close to town, and the kids had a blast. My only real complaint is that there was only one elevator and getting to and from the room was a little inconvenient, but we will definitely be back!"
