The rooftop swimming pool and outdoor area has great views of the mountains and city. The free breakfast buffet was good and the paid lunch buffet was good and reasonably priced.

I hated that I only booked one night in Rio and this hotel. The ambience was perfect, the view, everything and the staff amazing. It was great the receptionists spoke English as well. Will definitely rebook as it's easily accessible to the Novo Rio Terminal. Didn't wanna leave the hotel... Superb Breakfast

The hotel is new in the area. Area is up and coming, but is in an old part of the city. Lots of new construction around to better the area. Is 5 to 10 min drive to city center. Nothing in walking distance. Staff were very friendly. Hotel is clean and being maintained well.

The property itself is fairly new nice and clean but only valley parking available and and no street parking whatsoever. the reception is on the fourth floor makes it very inconvenient. The neighborhood is a low end with an upcoming developments, therefore, a lot of construction.

very very close to the bus station. If you plan to take the bus the next day, it can be a great option for you. No restaurtants close to that place, so the best option is to use the hotel's cafe for dinner (buffet), which is not that bad. I was very surprised to see how many customers eating dinner at a hotel cafe! Due to the short distance to the bus station, it is not a very safe place with some traffic jams all the time. Overall, if your goal is to take a bus, it is a good choice.

The receptionist at first lied to me saying she was going to provide a room with a view, as long as I waited longer for check in. However after she failed to do that, and I talked to the manager, he gave me the room with a view. This hotel also did not allow me to bring guests in my room unless I paid extra fees and waited in the lobby for a long time. Other than that food and price is reasonable

I stayed here to celebrate my parents’ honeymoon and our last two nights in Brazil together. I’d arranged a special treat in their room, confirmed multiple times, yet it wasn’t delivered as promised. When I asked the concierge, they mentioned it should’ve been arranged directly on Intercity’s site due to full capacity. Since I enjoy using Expedia, I didn’t see the need to book through the hotel’s site. The treat did eventually arrive, but only well into our stay, which felt disappointing. Additionally, my room’s air conditioning didn’t work on the first night and was only fixed just before check-out. I later learned the previous guest had the same issue, so it was already known to the staff. On the positive side, breakfast was great, the common areas were lovely, and the night crew – concierge, maintenance, and valet – were attentive and professional.

If you are prepared to stay away from all the touristy areas this hotel is ideal as its reasonably priced, nice size clean modern rooms. Good wifi service Very good helpful staff especially the excellent Cleiton on reception who resolved an issue i had in the breakfast area The hotel is a 5 minute walk to the Nearest VLT station( tram) that has good links to tge Rio Metro ( subway) & various tourist attractions
