Beyond Unacceptable

This is right in the middle of Lapa party district and for $30 for a Friday night during Carnival, I appreciate that it is cheap, however, some things are just completely unacceptable. When I checked into my room which the cleaners were just leaving I found a good sized room with fridge, twin beds, a wardrobe and TV and a good sized bathroom. However, the sink and co. had not be cleaned and contained male fluid stains en-masse. Both looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months and the floor was also filthy. The bed sheet contained a hand sewn rip too (I mean... seriously?). The shower was very good though I know for sure that everything was beyond filthy. The pillows stank. With such an attitude to hoarding old or broken appliances and linen etc. you can be sure that everything is unsanitary. Aside from that stated above all the staff were really nice, but....that doesn't make up for what I saw.

The front reception staff were lovely. The hotel is old and needs a renovation. It is a block from the famous tourist stairs which was awesome but the area is not a good place to stay if vacationing.

Ridiculously noisy. It may be out of the hotel's control but neighbouring rooms made so much noise that sleep was not possible the first night and near midnight the second night. Good loca5near Selaron steps.

Estacionamento em local fechado, coberto e seguro. Ar condicionado gela bem, porem faz bastante barulho, mas nada que nos atrapalhou tanto. O chuveiro é EXCELENTE, o banheiro so tem um problema que da pra ouvir tudo do banheiro ao lado, mas fora isso foi tranquilo. Tv funcionando perfeitamente, as meninas da recepção foram super atenciosas.

Péssimo!!! O HOTEL NÃO TINHA ÁGUA!!! Chegamos cansados, querendo um banho e quando fui abrir o chuveiro, cadê a água!! fizemos uma reclamação na recepção e ficamos aguardando retorno o que não tivemos, fomos dormir sem banho e sem resposta. Quando acordamos o problema da falta de água não tinha sido resolvido, fui novamente na recepção e a atendente simplesmente disse que não tinha água e nem previsão para resolver o problema. Resultado, sai do hotel sem nem conseguir escovar os dentes. Fica um alerta para o APP HOTEL.com, hotéis vendendo diárias sem condições mínimas de funcionamento, pq eu entendo que água é um item essencial para o funcionamento de um estabelecimento.
