"Enjoyed the one night we stayed with no problem and no complaints"

"The pillows are soft and small. The TV has basic channels only and because it is a Roku TV, I couldn't get Netflix to mirror with my phone. But breakfast buffet is standard Fair. Cold hard boiled eggs, bread for toast and cereal, Bagels, yogurt, bananas and oranges, Folgers coffee and or orange juice. Also pancakes are available"

"This is a very unique restored mansion within a fairly easy walk to downtown Kingston. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and the breakfast was delicious. Our room had been advertised through Expedia as having a bay view, and it didn’t, but that was no big deal. The bed and pillows were super comfortable. All in all, a great experience."

"The room was clean but would like to see the carpeting (allergen) replaced with other floor covering preferably natural materials. Staff was remarkably friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were excellent."

"This place was so cozy. We stayed in a tiny cottage that had everything we needed. Mini-fridge, coffee maker. It was clean and comfortable. Staff members were welcoming and friendly. We will definitely return."

"It’s an old building thats been touched up but…the air conditioning is good but the unit needs to be cleaned major, as it leaves a stink in the room when it’s running! Bed ok, shower ok,🤔, but the drain was very slow in drying, and end up standing in five inches of water as you shower! TV was ok but there was no channel information."

"Location is perfect. Close to the harbour and also close to the town’s Main Street. Owner and staff very friendly and hopeful. A real family business… even met owners father who was in to do some maintenance on the property. Had a great converse with him a got some great recommendations on places to see and dine in the area."

"The Donald Gordon Hotel in Kingston was fantastic. Housed in a beautiful historic building that was originally a private residence, it has operated as a hotel since, I believe, the 1980s. While the rooms are traditional hotel rooms, they are exceptionally well appointed, and the beds are very comfortable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. "Me and my two children only stayed 1 night, while in the area for a boat cruise. The kids went in the pool and said it was chilly (outdoor). The rooms appeared to be recently updated and nicely done. We had adjoining rooms, and the interior access was nice. The complimentary breakfast is a nice feature, but there were so many guests in the food area that it was not possible to get something without a long wait."

"What a beautiful place to stay and the hosts were all very friendly. The rooms all felt very clean, from the communal areas to the private rooms. The breakfast was a lovely addition too. Parking on site was also convenient and hotel is within a short walk to all the restaurants and the waterfront. The staff can give great recommendations for places to eat too."
