We stayed 3 nights as a family of four with two young kids and loved it. Spacious, clean apartment with a handy kitchenette and shared laundry. Free parking was a huge plus — no downtown parking hassle — and it’s just a 10‑minute drive to the city. Grocery store right across the street made meals easy. Perfect base for exploring Reykjavík and beyond!

The property felt like home away from home. It was close to the city 15 mins by car. The grocery store was across the street within walking distance. The apartment was spacious. It had all the amenity needed as my home would have, cook top, refrigerator, nice closet for storage, comfy sofa, shared washing machine and dryer in all floors. The property manager was quick in answering all questions no matter today or night. I did not want to leave. Best experience I have had staying away from home. It was also quiet and clean.

Wonderful

Great apartment! Spacious with large windows and blackout curtains. With fully equipped kitchen that was very convenient. Supermarket across the street. The bed and even unfoldable couch were super comfortable. About 15 min drive from downtown Reykjavik. It was easy to communicate with management throughout texting. I would definitely stay there again

Our stay at Icelandic Apartments was absolutely outstanding and made our Iceland trip even more memorable. From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless—check-in was smooth, the apartment was spotless, and the staff were warm, friendly, and happy to help with anything we needed. The apartment itself was modern, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped, which made it easy to cook meals after long days of exploring. The large windows offered stunning views of the surrounding nature, and we loved waking up to the peaceful Icelandic landscape every morning. The location is also ideal—just a short drive from Reykjavik and perfectly situated for day trips to the Golden Circle, Blue Lagoon, and South Coast. There’s a grocery store nearby and free parking, which made everything convenient. We really appreciated the quiet and cozy atmosphere, the thoughtful design of the space, and the overall value for money. It truly felt like a home away from home. This was a convenient spot to stay. One or more of the other businesses in the building were under construction. Trash was spread around the sidewalk and parking lot. The towel bar kept coming off the wall. The water was nice and hot. The kitchen was convenient.

Loved the apartment. It comes with stove top and microwave. No oven. Only issue is that road noise is loud on second floor and crosswalk timer is very loud to the point of distraction. View of valley is stunning. Black out curtains could be better.

It was clean, comfortable and had everything you'd need. It was warm, and the shower was gorgeous. The information and the communication was amazing. Would highly recommend. My only tiny quibble would be there was no toaster. But I think if I'd let the owners know, they would have brought me one, they were that accommodating. Otherwise top marks, Will stay again!

Booked a standard apartment. It was fine as a base and the location suited us as we had rented a car and planned days out. Plenty of free parking. Furniture was all fine and sofa bed ok for an adult. Disappointing view of the car park and gym in opposite building. Apartment did have an odd smell (seemed a different issue to the expected sulphur smell in the bathroom). Kitchen equipment quite limited. Heating was good. Didnt sleep too well - think road noise and an intermittent humming noise had an impact. Check in process worked fine. Overall, it was ok but would probably try elsewhere in future.
