"Good, quiet low-end resort, away from other resorts. Needs a refresh. Limited menu, has selection of day trips. Small private beach with good snorkeling 50m out at med/high tide. Very limited roads on Redang mean you can only scooter to Turtle Bay (where they hand feed turtles for the tourists). Had a great local bbq squid & tuna over a 44gal drum there."

"I had a great stay here. Initially, I was a bit hesitant to book this place due to previous reviews. But honestly, for a budget hotel it was great, and I would book again. The location was perfect, on the quieter side of the beach, but easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, and bars on the other side of the beach. "Stayed in renovated room. Nothing exciting about the rooms. Drab bathrooms. Food not worth talking unfortunately (even the local food is boring) about but plentiful. No alcohol allowed on premises but smoking is allowed everywhere. Wifi only at reception area. Pool seems to have under repairs for sometime."
