"- Breakfast is very basic, would not recommend. Save your money and go somewhere else. - Bedrooms are very dirty and smelly. - Checked in to my bedroom which had a dirty toilet full of stains, the toilet would not flush properly. Water running thru the whole night. Sink getting blocked everytime you would open the tap. - Curtains don’t cover the window properly so you have direct sunlight coming into the room. - Windows are extremely thin so you would hear the cars, all thru the night. -Only positive thing is that the staff is very nice and goes above and beyond."

"Super close to the train station and bus stops- less than a block away. This made it easy to walk to, even with lots of luggage. Room was clean and spacious with USB ports for charging so I didn't have to use my adaptor plug in. Reading was a great place to stay on the night before my flight back home from Heathrow- a beautiful green space park near the hotel to relax in, super easy access off the train, and then easy access (again about 1/4 of a block) to the Railair bus stop for a trip that dropped me off directly at Heathrow. Felt very safe walking around and was nice to see the ruins of an abbey and a local museum- all for free!"

"Enjoyed our one night stay. Staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the restaurant right next door for breakfast and dinners. Location is nice for walking along the Thames."

"Arrived for my 4th stay and while the room was mostly clean, the bed wasn't made that well and that really stood out. Obviously no big deal but when I had a shower the next morning, I noticed 2 hairs - one on the back of the bath and one on the wall of the shower - which was pretty gross! It really felt like the room didn't have the usual care and attention when it was cleaned, or at least compared to my other stays. This happened at 7.30am and as I was checking out at 8.30am, I planned to report it on my way out, but there was only one person at reception and they were dealing with someone, with another person waiting and I didn't have time to wait. Overall, really disappointing compared to my other stays. I've also contacted the hotel directly to report it."

"We stayed here because we have found Novotel perfect for our needs before, as a stop over on the way to Heathrow. Nice clean room with good shower. Quiet. 5 minute walk to RailAir bus stop. Will use again."
