"The pool is very big the hot tub very nice"

"The hotel was very accommodating, friendly and clean. The decor is updated simple contemporary. The breakfast buffet has plenty to offer and to our surprise, the hotel offered a complimentary dinner buffet Tuesday and Wednesday (week of Mar 28 - Apr 3, 2026). This was our second enjoyable stay with Homewood Suites by Hilton, the first being in Mt. Pleasant, SC. "

"This was a very calm and pleasant stay. The resort was clean and orderly they tended to are request very timely. The room was clean and modern. There is no airport shuttle just an fyi. The TV had modern cable, no streaming options. Which was kind of nice, felt nostalgic. The fitness room can definitely be improved with an added weight set (barbells). Over all a very good stay and modest pricing."

"We had to wait in an hour and a hald line to check in and get a key...there was no online check in (also, there were many elderly waiting in the line and not offered chairs or assistance). Many of the staff areas were understaffed...with many staff working at least 3 jobs (for instance, at the food bar by the pool there was one person taking orders, making cocktails, AND making the food...so we had another hour wasted just trying to get food) and only one staff member was near another busy family pool (who was supposedly watching the waterslide, running the consessions bar, AND they were running the kids activities). All of the staff looked stressed and miserable, understandably given how they were doing the job of two or three people. The room was clean but noisy..all of the floors creeked and all of the doors on the furniture slammed. The 1 bedroom we stayed in that supposedly fit 4 people had a dinky, run down fold out couch (that one kid barely fit on). It seemed a promising place with the amenities and activities BUT it is sorely understaffed and underserviced...except for the sales staff which are always trying to sell time shares/vacations. We won't bother with this place again."

"I gave this place 3 stars because the staff were really nice. The property itself is very outdated, which I can understand for the price but that’s exactly why it’s frustrating that they charge $33 per night for parking and don’t include breakfast. If the property is going to be that outdated, the least they could do is offer free parking and complimentary breakfast to balance it out. After doing the math, I realized I could have stayed at a nicer hotel for just a little more and had both parking and breakfast included."

"Overall it was a great stay. Rooms were big and clean. Staff were very nice. The air conditioning worked well and was quiet. The problem was it was spring break and the pool area was closed which I was looking foward to, so that was a big let down."

"Do not stay here. The property is under construction. It is so bad at 3.30/4pm when the workers were finishing they were brushing dust off the roof into the common areas. You can’t enter the hotel as it’s all closed down the main entrance lobby with construction cones and workers. There was concrete grinding at the lobby and constant banging. Endless dust everywhere. They had the audacity to charge me $40 a night resort fee - there was no pool it’s closed under construction and terrible $10 beach chairs for beach use whilst listening to banging. At check out I was informed of use of another local hotel pool - might have been useful information at check in. In all I paid in excess of $400 a night for two nights with all their fees- please please trust me stay elsewhere. Cancel - do whatever you need to do just do not stay here right now - they should not be open to the public."
