"We had an awesome stay at the Morgan Resort. I was celebrating my birthday and they decorated the room at my husband’s request. The cake and Prosecco were ready for consumption upon our arrival. The staff was pleasant each time we interacted with them. Carlos, Daven and the rest of the valet team were very attentive. We had a wonderful stay at the Morgan and we will definitely return to the island in the future."

"Hotel is basically a subdivision with its own convenience store and multiple restaurants. Hotel is in prime location with nearby restaurants, shopping, entertainment and excursions that’s within walking distance. Room layout is more apartment than hotel. Cons: Concierge/activity staff were not helpful. They give you an envelope of useful excursions, hotel activities and information, but does not assist in booking. You have to do it yourself or find other alternatives as some activity brochure...

"Stayed on the first floor in the studio. Absolutely loved the resort: great and very convenient location, good beach, friendly staff. You can walk to Philipsburg. There’s car rental right on the property. Convenience store has surprisingly good selection of food, alcohol and other stuff, even though quite overpriced. The only thing we didn’t like is that smoking was allowed everywhere which was very disturbing for non-smokers and those with health issues."

"Despite Expedia allowing a double booking which prevented us from staying in the room we selected, the staff went above and beyond and provided an outstanding replacement room that we honestly liked better. The food and amenities were excellent. Very glad Nate The Great allowed us to stop at Fairway grocery on the way so we didn't have to eat out all the time. Only downside is the red seaweed/sargam that clogs the bay and beaches. Definitely a must return stay!"

"Le petit déjeuner n’est pas digne d’un 4 étoiles. Il manquait de goût et de diversité. Le café était très mauvais et les jus ne sont pas frais mais en paquet. On nous a mis dans une chambre au fin fond de l’hôtel mais la chambre était spacieuse. Par contre une douche avec des moisissures n’est pas digne d’un 4 étoiles. Les tasses de café dans la chambre n’étaient quasiment jamais lavées, j’ai dû intervenir à la réception pour avoir des tasses lavées. Attention la plage a beaucoup se sargasses....

The beach was beautiful watching the planes fly over the beach. Had an awesome massage. The Sonesta was in little town with shops and restaurants, I felt safe walking around. I will visit again."

"Stayed 8 nights and was happy overall. Rooms are the highlight — spacious, comfortable bed, full kitchen (stove, oven, full-size fridge/freezer), though cooking utensils are limited. Two TVs (unused). Views range from parking lot to ocean — request your preference. Note the resort fee on top of the room rate. Housekeeping is scheduled, not daily: checked in Friday, cleaned Monday, extra days on request. I preferred the lighter touch. Check-in and checkout were easy, staff very friendly....

"We loved our stay at Hotel L’Esplanade while visiting Saint Martin. It is perfectly located in Grand Case and the property is beautiful. Our room was spacious and equipped with a king bed, bathroom, full kitchen, dining table, and private balcony. The amenities at the hotel are wonderful—from complimentary daily breakfast, yoga classes, Ti Spa, a lovely pool, beach access through their sister property (Le Petit Hotel), and a nightly shuttle to restaurant row, L’Esplanade has got it all. "We stayed in Les Temps des Cerises for a week and coudn’t be any happier, from the delicious on site gourmet grade meals and drinks to the outstanding ocean front rooms. But the staff makes all the difference, so attentive and genuinely nice. Always trying to accommodate and anticipate any need you may have. I never write reviews but they deserve all the praise in the world. I can not recommend this boutique hotel and restaurant enough."
