"The person at the reception desk was busy doing 3things at the same time which was annoying. "I had a delightful stay at this little hotel in Tel Aviv. It was a great place to anchor my visit to Israel. I could walk almost anywhere I wanted in just 30 minutes or less, Jaffa, the art museum, Carmel Market. The breakfast was outstanding and the free happy hour was fantastic. Really great way to start and end my sightseeing. Close to the light rail which can get you to the train which can get you almost anywhere in Israel. I would stay again."

"Old but well maintained building that also houses various events (bar mitzvot, britim) and serves as an old-age home from the attached building, so it was very common to see people in their 80s with walkers, but none of the above disturbed us at all. We had inadvertently reserved rooms on two floors; the staff was able to get us a second room on the first floor instead. Centrally located - they have buses to almost anywhere within five minutes walking (and many places from right outside the hotel). As the hotel caters to ultra-orthodox religious Jews (though anyone is welcome), there were no TVs in the rooms (though there is free wifi, I did not test it as I had my own). Food in the hotel is covered by Rabbi Landau's supervision, though I did not partake (except for coffee) because it is kind of expensive versus ordering in fast food. I had a large family with children aged 12 to 2, and everyone found something interesting to entertain themselves. If you keep your expectations par to the price, you'll be happy."
