"The hotel is a bit far out from the shops so unless you’re reasonably fit , you might need a car. Our room was large an good sized en suite. The other problem I would point out is that, iagain if you’re struggling with walking ,or require the aid of a stick or other walking aid there’s a lot of stairs to reach some of the rooms. My husband did struggle with them. Ideal for a one night stop over."

"Sauberes Zimmer und Bad, tolles Frühstück, leider kein Parkplatz oder Haltemöglichkeit zum checkin. Somit mussten wir die Koffer weit transportieren und 2 Stockwerke hinauf tragen. Alles andere war wunderbar und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt."

"I had a very nice stay at the Open Arms Hotel. The staff were very welcoming and made me feel at home. The room was first class with a view over the village green and very comfortable. The lounge area with the open fire is lovely and relaxing being able to have a pre- dinner drink and review the menu. It was a very enjoyable stay and will definitely be returning again in the very near future."

"Fantastic location and easy contactless check in! Great communication with staff via messaging. Our charming room was on the top floor (3 flights of stairs). The only issue was the dormer windows didn’t enable a ton of fresh air in and the room was warm, but the fan in the room helped. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was very nice and well appointed. Suzanne, our host for breakfast, was absolutely lovely and went above & beyond to take care of everyone in the dining...
