"Everything in all honesty was really good. Staff really helpful, the lady(red hair wish we'd asked her name)at breakfast made our kids packed lunch which was a life saver 3 hours later. So a huge thanks to her. The biggest let down was the later check in process. We did speak to the front desk in the morning and the explanation was details weren't readily available through Expedia when booking on Expedia. I can't see this being the case because correspondence before arrival via email, Expedia and phone. That should be streamlined somehow or the process to have an opt in option. Having that sprung on us at 10pm with two tired children on the street outside wasn't ideal. But we can take the good with the bad. Within that late check in process there should be also and option to request drinks put in as all additions (water, snacks, beer etc.) we're locked in a fridge. It'd be a nice touch to be able to request and pay for those to be in the fridge in the room on arrival "

"I recently stayed at this property, and while the accommodation itself was  decent, the overall experience was unnecessarily complicated due to the lack of in-person support. The entire process is handled online, which might sound convenient in theory, but in practice it made everything far more difficult. Checking in was especially frustrating—there was no reception or staff on-site, and the instructions provided were not as clear or seamless as they should have been. What would normally be a quick and simple process turned into a stressful back-and-forth. Communication with the host was also challenging. Since there’s no one physically available, any questions or issues require messaging and waiting for a response, which isn’t ideal when you need immediate assistance—especially after traveling. To be fair, the place itself was clean and reasonably comfortable, so there’s no major complaint about the property itself. However, the fully remote, hands-off system made the stay feel impersonal and inconvenient. With a bit more support or at least clearer, more responsive communication, the experience could be significantly improved. Overall, an okay stay in terms of the space, but the complicated access and lack of on-site assistance made it more stressful than it needed to be. "

"I love this hotel and have been back more than once. The staff are very nice and helpful and the location is lovely. It is not perhaps the best location if you want to fall out of your hotel straight into central Budapest or are into late night clubbing or dining but i love the location on Margaret Island. For me provides the perfect balance between the peaceful nature of the island and the bustle of the city. There are regular, reliable buses into the city and the view as you cross the bridge is of the stunning Parliament building - especially gorgeous when lit up. The rooms are clean and traditional rather than modern - the sister hotel is more modern but I preferred the tradiitional feel of this one personally. Beds comfy and bathrooms clean and spacious. There is a small place to eat here and breakfast is provided in the main dining room. You can also get a nice (but a bit overpriced) buffet in the nighbouring hotel for dinner. The spa and pool are also and accessed via an underground tunnel joining hte two hotels. Robes and towels are provided. Gym is also well equipped. Personally can't speak highly enough of this place and I would go back anytime."

"Nice hotel not in the very center of the city. Good hotel, quiet place, nice bed and bathroom. Restaurant is good. The staff is friendly - poured me coffee for free in the middle of the night. The hotel is not in a very center of the city - but it is not hard to travel to city center by train or by bus (bus stop is in 5 mins of walk). Very good option for modest price "

"The apartment was beautiful, clean, two bedrooms and separate bathrooms. Close to public transport and some local attractions. The no-key, use of a code to enter the apartment eliminated the worry 9f forgetting or losing a key. Window blinds/shutters blocked out daylight ensuring a good sleep after busy days of sightseeing and socialising. We had the most amazing stay, throughly enjoyed it. I would say the only things that could improve the apartment would be, a toaster, better cooking utensils ( a decent knife) and a comfortable/more functional sofa. "
