"A good but not outstanding stay. The staff are polite and welcoming, the rooms are comfy and clean. The shower pressure was dreadful though and the TV didn’t seem to have streaming services (if it did they weren’t easy to find). There was no bottled water in the room and the kettle/tea making stuff was cheap. For this kind of price point I’d expect a few more luxuries, but it was a perfectly good place to stay in York."

"I stayed only a few nights and had wonderful experience. Place is relatively easy to find - this relaxing walk through the green park was a big joyful bonus. Very clean room, comfy bed, good shower. "Very helpful staff who provided excellent service and the room was comfortable. However the hotel patrons were rowdy and public areas like the toilets in the common area were dirty. The people in the room next to us were loudly talking into the early hours of the night which was so frustrating, so we didn't sleep well. But not the fault of the hotel. "

"The bathroom needs cleaning properly! The sink had a residue in it ( I wiped it down with a small towel and the only cleaning product to hand….shower gel! ). There is some black mould starting on the tiles and water damage at the bottom of the door frame in side the bathroom. The room was very hot even with the window open jar. It would be really uncomfortable in the summer. We were near a door and it’s really noisy! I was annoyed at being charged £36 for car parking having not been told this...
