The location of St. James Apartments is excellent. On the map it looks like you have a walk to get to the heart of town but in reality there are gates onto Camp St. which means you are right there. It is also right next to the Queenstown gardens and lovely walks. And the views from at least some of the rooms are wonderful. Close to bus lines and grocery shops. I can’t wait to return.

Fantastic location a short, flat stroll into the centre of Queenstown. The apartment had everything we needed. The two bedrooms were on different floors which suited us with older children but might not suit families with younger children. It would be a great townhouse for two couples as each floor had everything you needed with downstairs having a 2nd loungeroom and small kitchenette. Would definitely stay again as it's such a convenient location.

The location was excellent - very close to all of the town facilities and the lake. The room was very large. Some of the decor was very tired, including stained here and there. There is parking onsite but much of the parking has very low headroom and could not fit the rental car into the space so had to park elsewhere. Limited access to staff, although phone connection available when they weren't at the desk.

The bed was comfortable. The staff were nice. The bad points were that the room key was broken. The elevator stopped and I was locked out. I chose a room with a bathtub, but the hot water stopped halfway through. The location is good because it's close to town.

Great location with Queenstown CBD just across the street. Beautiful views of the mountains. We stayed in the 2 Bedroom Executive suite and it was very spacious. My only negatives would be that inside could use with a revamp and mattresses need to be replaced however would definitely come stay their again. Staff are very friendly and property outside is really well Maintained.

Fantastic apartment close to down town area.

Really comfortable apartment with plenty of room for the five of us. Enjoyed the balcony looking over the city and good view of the Gondola. Short walk to down town area made it great to pick up some food at the bakery in the morning.

What a great deal!

This is a great place for groups, with full kitchens, excellent location just blocks from the town center, easy walk to anywhere you want to go - immaculately clean, well-appointed, beautiful views from the upper level units.

This apartment is huge. Plenty of room for 3 people & stuff. Location is fantastic! Go down private walkway & you are right in the center of the restaurant area. Clean, comfortable. Note that desk is open only 8 hours but were very cooperative for our late checkin. Furnishings are clean but dated but with this location I don’t care.

We needed a location that was quick access to the airport for an early morning flight. This location worked just fine. It is located next to a police station and the alarms went off during the night (a little disrupting). We did enjoy the heated floors in the bathroom and the mini kitchenette. We were disappointed that the elevator wasn't working as we had 3 heavy suitcases. The parking is under the building (first come-first serve). It is tight but available. Overall, we would recommend this location.

Great location and good sized apartments they are just a bit run down and no A/C. We didn't have instructions for a late check in which made it a bit of a mission.

The place is not the newest but the location is unbeatable! You can walk to town easily, 3 min walk and you’re at the lake. We stayed at the one bedroom suite, it’s really spacious for our family of 3. The only downside is the internet is soooo slow that basically any webpage cannot be opened every night between 8pm till midnight. We have to turn off WiFi on our phone and use our own internet data during our stay. During the day the speed is also really slow, but at least you can open a webpage.

You can hear everything in the hallway. Peoples conversations, elevator, people climbing stairs and walking along the hall. No views but it's a two minute walk to the lake. Mould in the bathroom. Furniture Dated. Not the most friendly staff. Felt I was getting yelled at when I tried to check in early. Amazing location. Cosy room. Nice layout. Comfortable Bed. Room was easy to heat/cool. The tub was nice and deep, a very nice treat after walking.
