"Excellent property and well maintained. Great getaway for those that prefer am alternative to your cousin chain hotels. Look forward to staying again!"
"The property was beautiful and well maintained inside and out however, it would have been nice if a dining room would have been added and I expect a fresh roll of toilet paper in hotel rooms

"The rooms were clean and very comfortable, great for a weekend away. The location is close to Newport which was a plus and the restaurant next to the Inn was amazing."

"For our 25th anniversary we chose Newport, RI for a getaway. As first time visitors, we researched options and chose the Vanderbilt because it seemed central in location and the fact there were onsite spa services and good bar. This first choice was fortunate because we then met Morgan, the lead concierge. I booked the hotel and then immediately emailed re:spa services. Morgan called within 5 minutes of my email to book our appts and then proactively offered other services, ideas, and resources. She worked with me over email and phone, booking restaurants, an onsite cocktail class with Zach (who is truly amazing as a teachers and cocktail scientist/artist) and getaway spa treatments with Randi (who really knows her stuff and cares) and team.
The stay was great! From check in where we were treated with our itinerary packet and resources to surprise amenities celebrating our anniversary through to check out, it was above expectations. Every staff member was truly friendly and the style of this historical mansion hotel was striking and welcoming. Location was perfect - we walked everywhere and didn’t need our car really.
Highly recommend! When we visit Newport on the future we will stay here again and will check out other Augerge collection properties in other locations in the future. I wish I encountered service and hospitality like this every time. Thank you Vanderbilt crew!"
