"At the very last minute we had to find accomodations for one night in Salerno. We were lucky enough to find Home 47 and the wonderful host. Gracious and welcoming. We were able to stash our bags for several hours after we had checked out. the best part however was the fantastic homemade breakfast! Thank you!"

"Close to the beach (15 min walk), but what we appreciated the most were that they had bicycles to use. The condition of the bikes was just okay, so you have to be a bit picky, but they were great for getting around since there seemed to be no local bus service in the area. It took about 20 min to ride to the archeological park and just a few min to get to the beach where there is a long promenade along the beach. The front desk was very helpful and pleasant."

The train from Naples took us to the historic Salerno rail center and even with two rollable bags, the walk to The Holiday Guesthouse was an easy and mostly flat 12-minutes. All very safe, convenient and smooth check in following easy communication with the host Alfonso. Salerno really grew on me during the trip. Easy to get into Naples. Salerno is the much more preferable city for me. Various excellent delis and cafes nearby. "
