"The hotel staff were above board. My room was on the smaller side, I'd expected a little more legroom for the price. It was bare bones, one small towel, one hand towel, no washcloth. The onsite Italian restaurant was nothing to write home about, minimum choices, overpriced. Staff went out of their way to ensure I enjoyed my stay."

"Poor and very limited breakfast. Restaurant is super expensive with limited menu and poor quality meals. Cero amenities. Very boring after 6 pm when it gets dark only thing left to do is go to sleep."

"I have stayed here several times, but it has changed over time. The restaurant has changed and now has a few craft beers, but the service was better before. There is some new venue close by that blasts music. I suppose that makes the hotel more convenient if you are going to that venue, but less pleasant if you are just looking to have an easy trip to/from the airport."

"I appreciated the stay as I had traveled all day and welcomed a night to rest. The space is quaint & beautiful; I love all the plant decor! The staff were very kind and helpful. Breakfast included was delicious. It is located in a part of town I was uncomfortable with (as a foreigner), but the hostel was welcoming."

"Beautiful oasis in the city. The perfect place to spend a night before our early morning flight. The owner was so friendly and kind. She helped us get a taxi to the airport and even noticed we had a surfboard with us and arranged for us to get a bigger vehicle to make sure it fit. We highly recommend this place!"

"No hot water in the shower. Charged us an extra 15USD for the 2nd person in the room. Food was so-so and pricey. They offered fruit for the morning as we were leaving before breakfast was served. They gave us one small container - enough for one person. We’ve been staying here regularly when we arrive and prior to leaving Costa Rica over the years as have friends and family based on our recommendation. "Berlor Inn worked well for us as our airport stay. It was close to many car rental agencies for easy pick up/drop off. The courtyard and pool was a nice little oasis after travelling. The breakfast was made fresh."
