Beautiful! So welcoming and friendly! Food and restaurants were delicious! Everyone was friendly and always willing to help out. If looking for a family friendly location to stay, this is the location!! Very close to the beach. Small transportation trucks available for resort guests to get around.

The air conditioning in the room would not allow us to lower it past 77°, balcony door did not lock, ceiling fan did not work, TV remote did not work, bugs somehow wandered into the room crawling on our dresser, female staff is not nice to other females, trolly carts are not convenient at Fantasia part of resort, no elevator in the building we were in so we had to carry luggage up 3 flights of stairs.

The Staff at the Beach restaurant were wonderful especially Carolina! other than that our A/C just was not working in the rooms, restaurants... nothing. The room had a funny smell that never left even after cleaning. Just disappointed

The resort was family friendly and the kids (age 3 and 5) really enjoyed the water park and beach. The entertainment was really good especially the magic and circus show. We only stayed 5 nights so we did miss the princess show. We enjoyed the a la cartes and the buffet was just average. The BBQ by the beach was nice but only convenient if you were by the beach/pool by the beach as it was far from the waterpark and pain pool inside the resort. Some a la cartes were at other resorts and a shuttle was available to get there so we did have to manage our time to get to the restaurants as sometimes it would take about 15ish mins to get to. The AC was not working in the main areas and a lot of the rooms had minimal AC. We complained twice and was finally upgraded to another room where the AC was better but not great.

The property was amazing especially for kids. The Staff top Of the line. So many activities for the children it will never leave them bored. Cindy from family concierge was also helpful and kind. She deserves a promotion:)

The property is not clean at all the rooms are nasty and has a lot of mold and there was lots of Cucarachas everywhere. Cucarachas Were also in the buffet how nasty could this get. My son has allergies from the cucaraches and when I called the manager they didn’t even say sorry or anything and it was right next to the food. Staff need to learn how to speak English and be friendly. Also staff on the pool bar don’t understand English and didn’t know what we were saying when asking for drinks. I will never recommend this place to my friends

As a family with two kids, age 10 and six, we absolutely loved our stay here. This resort cannot be beat in terms of amenities and activities to do for kids from morning tonight! All of the entertainment staff is exceptional and goes above and beyond and is so fun and friendly. We enjoyed our à la cart restaurants, as well as the buffet for other meals.

Overall, property was maintained. The rooms were damp and quite dated. Service was mostly good everywhere in the resort. Grounds were fairly well maintained. Good food selection. Power on property went out twice. Not a quiet environment. If you’re used to a five star resort, I’d say this was more 3.5/4. Mosquitos were plentiful and some cockroaches. Beach had quite a bit of seaweed. Overall, just ok.

I got a terrible skin rash from the algae on the beach. The hotel does not clean the beach, I have seen other resorts picking up algae with a machine but not this one. My daughter and I got food poisoning from the shrimp at the buffet, that ruined part of our stay. The only thing the staff did was giving us broth after filling a complaint. The shows were fun and the staff was kind. The restaurants were amazingly good except from the food at the buffet restaurant “Larimar” there was a lot of variety but tasteless food.

We had an okay experience. I’ll start with the bad since it outweighs the good. For starters, the bathroom in our room was hardly clean! The shower drain was clogged and had the previous vacationers hair on the walls. The room smelled like mold and held a lot of moisture. Over the days, all of our things felt damp including the bed. The cleaners only cleaned the floors changed the bed sheets and towels in the room daily. The majority of the staff only spoke Spanish or knew very little English. I also only felt warm welcomes and positive attitudes from only 50 percent of the staff we encountered our entire stay. I had an emergency my second day on the resort and concierge seemed to not want to help me contact my transportation services to secure my transport back to the airport. When it was time to check out two days later I had the same experience with different staff. Now on to the good. There are tons of food options due to the resort having access to other resorts. The best food we had was at Maiko and Garden Circus. Room service was okay but the language barrier prevented us from receiving our orders correctly half of the time. The main pool had a swim up bar which was great. The beach was okay there wasn’t enough sand to sit and spread out because it was crowded with people and vendors trying to sell you things. We made our trip the best we could under the conditions but I wouldn’t recommend it if you only speak fluent English and enjoy room cleanliness.

Everything looked good at arrival, the rooms could be in better configurations, our tub was dirty and one of the jets fell out hurting my husband, not to mention my dad found and killed a rat in his room. To make matters worse I fell down the stair because they are uneven at an angle and on a slope! Extremely unsafe! The worst part is they knowing this don’t have a sign or anything to prevent anyone else from getting hurt. I would say the staff at the pool were the best part of our trip. They were very welcoming and fun! Other than that I don’t think I will ever be back here again.

The location was perfect for kids and adults, lots of entertainment and the service was excellent! The rooms at the fantasia side are a bit outdated, could use new hardware in the bathroom and room overall. My only complain is that breakfast ended at 10:45am, which is too early for my "vacation self" we were able to adjust but do wish the food schedule was more flexible to accomodate folks that appreciate brunch, especially since shows/music were on till midnight, which we all (kids too) fully enjoyed and therefore slept in a little more. Other than that, all good. Very kid friendly and lots of activities to do.

The place is beautiful catering to kids. They love it. But the floors omg are so slippery especially when wet. And with little kids that love to run and slip . My child slipped by the pool running around so many times. Id definitely go back but after my child grows up some more. Where running around is not so fascinating. But the kids loved the water parpk the pizza right by it with the frozen ice-cream and the fruits. The pastrys where freshly made and tasted amazing. Child friendly to the max .
