This is really a beautiful property. They will be renovating soon but even now it still is beautiful. People need to remember these properties are in a very hot climate and things will looked a little sun washed. Staff was very friendly and one of the best buffets I have had. Pools are clean and beautiful.

Nice enough property for the price. Run down, but they will be renovating soon. Felt bad for the staff that seemed overworked & moody.
The property is beautiful and away from everything. I recommend staying here only if you’re not planning on doing tours or visit other places cause it’s expensive to leave. Minimum $100 in taxi round trip. Because there is nothing around, If you need anything at the mini market there be ready to be ripped off. A bag of chips costs $14. Bring mosquito repellent as they are very very bad right now. Mosquito repellent there is a $32!! Ridiculous prices. The resort is a little outdated, which is why I believe it’s going through our remodel in the next few months. The service was amazing. All the bartenders are super nice. Alfredo in the pool area was our favorite. Food was good. Buffet had a lot of varieties. Good luck being able to get reservations at the specialty dining. I literally had to stay up until midnight to be able to get some reservations. Mexican was our least favorite. Very blant flavor and the only place we had bad service. Steakhouse was great with Miguel, Asian was amazing with Manuel. Italian was ok. Be careful when checking in to get all your items back. They asked for my passport to check in. I never noticed that they hadn’t given it back to me until I was about to check out. Went to ask and nobody knew anything about it. Multiple people told me there was nothing there and there was nothing they could do. Thankfully Miguel at Front desk was the only one who believed me. He literally called peoples cell phones and found it. Took about 3 hours to get it back.
The app is terrible. Lack of consistent customer service. We paid for a "butler" and never got one. Diamond club is not worth it. Overall, not the best experience.
I do not know what happens this time. My dad used to come here all the time and it was great but this trip the staff members at the hotel did not treat us good at least the ones that offers the drinks and the food around the pool and the bars
We stayed for 4 nights and decided to extend our stay for 1 more night. The room we were in was available, but because they’re going to close for remodeling the search engine could not pull it out and NO ONE could help me with it. I booked through Expedia in a room for my husband and I and our 2 young kids. I requested 2 queen beds in a diamond club swim out suite. The room smelled of mold and was full of mosquitoes. It has 1 king bed and a paper thin foldout bed. We were there with a party of 14, and every room size is different, but this was the smallest. We only stayed there 1 night and Thank God because come to find out there were bed bugs!!!!! We are all bitten all over from disgusting bed bugs. Because of this none of us will ever return to this property.
Great resort for families with lots of pools and kid friendly options. Clean and prompt service. Plan ahead for room service as it can take 40-70mins in peak times. Tipping staff highly recommended as we enjoyed our time and got good service. Expedia package has the VIP which was nice and our own concierge made world a difference. Julio was amazing and took care of us and made our stay 5/5. The only
thing that would be nice see more kids and vegetarian food options.
El hotel no esta en buenas condiciones, pero la comida fue lo peor, en los restaurantes de especialidad la calidad fue mala y deficiente, sin lugar a dudas el peor hotel que hemos visitado. Pagamos por 4 dias con 3 noches, una habitacion de 2 adultos y 1 niño(1200 dolares), que no me parecio nada economico para la muy mala experiencia que tuvimos. NO SE LO RECOMIENDO A NADIE.
The property is Hugh but beautiful now my personal experience wasn’t good , let’s start with arriving no greeted us had to take our own bags to the room no sigh or person to tell us there was a separate area to check in with Expedia, that representative wasn’t very friendly or helpful the party with us got Expedia wrist bands didn’t know what they were for but wasn’t offered them,now on to the room booked a king swim out suite got to queens and was told there was not any kings available and no restaurant to eat at once we arrived but the buffet. So the next morning I went and asked for a manager to try and get some things resolved that the Expedia agent could not we arrived on Friday got the room changed on Sunday now the room service was horrible and very slow by the time you got what was available it was cold or you were sleep , no restaurant had air conditioning except one which is crazy all the furniture seems to be very low to the floor and the MTS transportation wasn’t very good either and all the food was bland and they brought my husband a piece of cake for his birthday with no covering over it just open the only place that was top notch was the Spa had an amazing experience there.
