The hotel is conveniently located at a walking distance of all mayor landmarks in downtown Puebla, that convenience is also a downside if you stay in the rooms with windows to the street because you will have noisy nights.

Gorgeous Historic Hotel with Modern Comfort

This is an amazing and gorgeous hotel. This historic property has been updated with modern comfort. Each room is distinct and beautiful. The location could not be better for exploring central historic Puebla by foot. The staff were gracious, helpful and absolutely lovely. If you are visiting Puebla, this is the place to stay.

When we are in Puebla, Casona de la China Poblana is our home away from home. The rooms are spacious and beautiful. The upper courtyard area is fantastic. Quiet, relaxing, and with great views of nearby colonial buildings. The restaurant is also top notch, with classic Mexican breakfasts their speciality. With only about 7 rooms, this is perfect for an extended family.

Great location, helpful staff, good free internet and breakfast. The Grand Suite was not on the street so it was very quiet. No elevator so be prepared to climb.

Very friendly staff. No problem checking in early. Very early in fact. Love Puebla and have visited many times and ate at the restaurant here but this was the first time lodging. One of the oldest places in Puebla but had all modern facilities. A 2 minute walk to the Zocalo.

Nice enough. Huge rooms in character. I was disappointed by the bathrooms. They were modern nd functional but not in keeping with the historic vibe. The only reason to Stan the center. But other than that a solid choice.

Our stay at the Casona de la China Poblana Boutique Hotel was excellent! The staff is very hospitable and friendly, always willing to help, starting from Citlali, the 2 Verónicas, Fernando, Jose, Valeria, Elizabeth and Miguel. Since we arrived they upgraded our room to a larger, very nice and super clean one. They welcomed us with a margarita and the included breakfasts are a delight. We will definitely book again at this hotel, which is very close to the main square (zocalo) where the best places to visit in Puebla are.

Loved this hotel, close to the square. Staff was super friendly. Rooms were beautiful and clean. Cookies, comp water, fruit juice and fresh fruit were a lovely touch in the room. AC worked great. Breakfast was lovely. Drinks were on par. Only issue was we were locked out of the hotel for 15 mins. on a Saturday night in the rain at 10:45pm. We had a late dinner reservation and we rang the door bell and clicked the knocker several times. We had to call the main hotel line several times to gain enterance. Location was excellent.

The hotel was really nice, the only thing is they said breakfast included & the only thing they gave us was white toast with jelly, coffee & a little bowl of fruit. They do have a restaurant in the bottom floor if you want real breakfast.

Continental breakfast needs to be better fir the price of the Hotel. They claim they have coffee, tea, and water in the afternoon and that was a lie. We ended up paying for burnt coffee at 5pm. No tea or hot water available either in the afternoon. We asked if my elderly father could occupied the bedroom next to us and they said that it was already booked, wich was no true. No one stayed there.
