"Hotel currently going through refurbishment in different areas. Got an excellent deal with B&B so needed hotel for Sat night in area so grabbed. Stated a Club room which was small but cozy. New refurbed but can see has been done cheaply. Existing damaged ensuite door, old bath with new panels just fitted.. if your gonna refurb, do it properly as looks poor. "The check in was easy even though we were an hour early, staff very pleasant. Room clean and more than adequate - we just stayed for one night prior to flying the next day. Very convenient for the train station and terminal. We didn't eat breakfast but I would definitely stay there again."

"Parking very easy till we booked in and were asked to pay £14, this was not mentioned on the hotel advert with Expedia nor on the email confirming the booking. After some debate with reception the guy borrowed our phone to show us where it was, not under this hotel but scrolled down another half dozen pages and showed us it the parking charges in the general terms and conditions, while scrolling saw the booking charge had dropped by £20, so suggested they took the parking charge out of this,...

"The staff were helpful as always , issue with the shower was rectified promptly. Water pressure in the hotel not great for flushing of loos etc but otherwise a great stay in a convenient location with everything you need on site. The room was clean and food and drinks were also good. The staff make this hotel as they are always happy to help."
