We had a wonderful stay! The place was beautiful, clean, comfortable, and peaceful. Giovanni was very helpful, friendly, and responsive throughout our stay, which made our experience even better. The place was clean and the ac worked extremely well!! The view was amazing but I will say there is about 120+ steps to get to the room so if that’s something you can’t do I would look elsewhere. It was something we overlooked because we truly loved the place. We ordered a private transfer through the place and that was a great service. We will definitely be back if we are ever in Positano!

Fantastic views from the semi-private terrace. There is also a garden terrace that we didn't use, but it looked nice and well maintained. The host was fantastic, Giovanni was communicative, knowledge and generally very help. His recommendations for places to eat, where to parkv and how to get to certain tourist spots was great.

Everything good view easy to get groceries bus to positano and amalfi!! You need to climb stairs with suitcases 40 or more so need to be in shape not wheelchair accessible!!!!!! Clean condo hot tub bbq brickets!

The rooms are spacious, the views are amazing and the staff was wonderful and helpful. The area is quiet and private and is right in between Amalfi and Positano so you have access to both!

I loved this stay! The views were amazing, and the accommodations were the best. The host was gracious and helpful. Be forewarned, there are steps and hills, but every single step is worth it for the breathtaking sights. Pack lightly!!

Wonderful property with gorgeous views of the Amalfi coast. Room was amazing, very clean and with all amenities provided. Only issue is climbing up and down about 100 steps to and from the property with heavy luggage - just be mindful of that.

Praiano is the place to stay in the Amalfi coast if you want to avoid the crowds of Positano and Amalfi! The Calentaluna is a beautiful house located on a hill overlooking the water. The views were just stellar! The room was comfortable and the staff was helpful. Highly recommend!

Giovanni was very welcoming and resourceful. He assisted with directions to the hotel and helped with luggage up the stairs. He recommended nearby restaurants that were really good and walkable. The room and view was perfect!! I will definitely be coming back and staying here again. I will also refer this place to my family and friends!

BEAUTIFUL cozy, and very well located studio room. Gio, was very helpful during our stay. It’s close to the bus stop that takes you up and down the coast. The view is breathtaking well worth the STAIRS, which are daunting with luggage.

We stayed 6 nights in April here and it was stunning. Giovanni’s communication was faultless, helping us book a reservation for a restaurant to how to reach the property. Thank you Giovanni. The accommodation is spacious and warm with views that are incredible. Our son lived in the spa which was warm. I should imagine in summer it would be ideal after a long hot day. A local supermarket stocks most things including fresh bread, wine, cheese and fresh vegetables.

Everytime you take the bus you will walk up a hill to get to the steps to your apartment. Immaculate rooms, plenty of space for the family, we used the hot tub & washing machine, beautiful scenery, every restaurant is wonderful and many are gluten free. Grocery store is nearby. Giovanni is welcoming & knowledgeable about what we want to do during our stay. The apartments have everything we needed & is in a very safe area. If you are comfortable with the outside temperature, you will sleep fine because the AC doesn't get cooler than outside & there's no ceiling fans. Wonderful cool breeze late at night & in the early morning.

Where do we begin? Such an amazing villa with the perfect view from a private terrace. The one bedroom suite has a living room, two bathrooms, kitchen, and terrace overlooking coast with private jacuzzi. Very welcoming for romance, friends, or family. Giovanni took his time to offer amazing suggestions, showing us where we were and where to go, and we could leave luggage after checkout for a small fee to further explore the area. Like other reviewers mention, there are no photos that do this place justice. The views here are absolutely breathtaking. Insider Tip: If taking taxi service from Amalfi or Postitano, have Giovanni arrange taxi service for stress free transit. Since we were traveling light, we opted for the bus from Postitano for 3 euros that dropped us across the street from Canteluna, but this took a while due to bus schedules. Later, we discovered that there are several water taxi services from Marina Praia that hop between Priano and Amalfi/Postitano. Upon leaving Priano, as the bus to Amalfi was full due to high season, we opted to walk to Marina Praia with our luggage to take the TravelMar water taxi for 11 euros each… and SO glad we did! Marina Praia is definitely worth seeing, with exceptional views and restaurants, and the water taxi gave us even more delightful photo opportunities from the water along the way. If you are doubting, don’t. Priano is authentic Italy, and host is just as genuine and exceptional too.

Beautiful villa style hotel overlooking the coast! We are so glad we chose Calanteluna as our stay. Giovanni is an amazing host and the facilities added ease, convenience, and so much fun and beauty to our trip. Super accessible property for traveling all over the Amalfi coast by public transit. Great views and service 100% recommend this stay!
